Although it may not be known in the usa, there is a song in england called 'Didn't we have a lovely time, the day we went to Bangor'. The song refers to Bangor in Wales, but it is just as pertinent to Bangor, ME!
We arrived at the brunch spot, sans carnations, to be met by Lois crossing the street. She was quite delightful! We ordered sandwiches and drinks and took a seat outside. There then followed 3 hours of splendid conversation and reminiscing that was super to watch. I also learned a few things too! The time flew by, punctuated only by frequent checks to make sure our tyres had not been chalked by the enthusiastic traffic wardens. We left with a promise to return , and an invitation of a place to stay! Thanks, Lois! We will be back!
Now we are on our way to the next reunion, my best friend Simon, who lives just outside of Boston, and whom we haven't seen for just over 5 years. We will be staying with him and his totally gorgeous wife, Manuela, for the next few days. We will also get to meet their two daughters for the first time. It promises to be a fun time!
So on we go! Next stop Sommerville, MA!

David, James,
Reminiscing with Jim was grand, but the best part of the day was connecting with James of today, and finally meeting David. I'm looking forward to the next time. Happy Trails ...
