Here I am on
Battle Green in Lexington, MA, just making sure the coast is clear. I feel a tad conspicuous with my accent here, considering that the whole Revolutionary War began here. How humbling to be standing here reflecting on that event, and to think of everything that has happened to both of our countries since then.
We arrived at Simon and Manuelas house last night, and it was great to see them and to finally meet the girls! We had a lovely dinner and evening just catching up and hanging out. Special times with special people. That is what life is all about.
This morning James and I took the girls to the park for an hour and i spent the time taking pictures of the girls while James played with them. The are adorable and were very obliging to my camera. It will take a while to process out all the images, but for once I am looking forward to seeing my work!
So now we are heading on to Concord, after lunch and our trip to Battle Green.
But wait....what was that noise? Was it a shot ringing out around the world?
Oh...it was just James breaking a nail! Silly me!
