Its a beautiful day again here in Maine. The only thing that would make it better is blogging on a PC and not a Phone! Still, mustn't grumble! We just finished breakfast and are enjoying doing nothing for once. Last night we had dinner and drinks at McKays Pub. We had such a great time that we are going back tonight. The place is lovely and the garden tables are just beautiful.
Today we plan to just tootle around the island for the morning, browsing the scenery and gift shops. Yesterday was so strenuous, that we decided that todays walk would be a leisurely afternoon beach stroll. Expect paddling pictures tomorrow. James will be the one who looks like Esther Williams...
When we got to the top yesterday, the view was amazing, although very hazy, so not good for photos. The walk back down was just as challenging, and the whole r/t took just under 4 hours. The terrain was much rockier than we are used to, but our new boots, Scarpa Kailashes rose to the challenge admirably. Today my challenge will be to take some pictures! I took a few portraits of James last night, but that has been all so far. Oh well! I need to find a way to lighten my camera bag some, so today may be easier if i do that. I may be more inclined to take pictures as well if my bag is lighter.
